Based on a not-for-profit Charitable social enterprise model, 100% of all funds donated or earned go directly into the Centre. Governance of the Charity extends from an International Committee, to the Director and Clinic's Management Committee and Operations and Finance sub-committees, to staff and users committees. Audited report and accounts are produced on an annual basis and Management Accounts are produced quarterly.
During its first two years of operation, The Centre de Santé Nimatoullah was a 100% volunteer project. Since then, we have succeeded in providing market level salaries for all of our clinical and clerical staff. However, our administrative and fundraising functions are still done entirely by volunteers, many of whom are highly-experienced professionals from around the world who contribute their time and energy without remuneration. This means that 100% of your contributions go directly into improvements in patient care and building expansion.
Despite the high quality of our services, our fees are less than half of the prevailing rates for the same services anywhere else in the country. Our very low fee structure allows the majority of our patients to afford our services, but no one is ever refused treatment on the basis of inability to pay. The Centre is committed to absorbing the cost of providing free services for those who need them.
